SCHEDULING & APPOINTMENTS

To help provide timely service to our patients, we see patients by appointment only. If you are running more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will try to work you back into the schedule, offer you an appointment with a different provider, or in some instances out of courtesy to our other patients, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment.

Occasionally, despite our best efforts, we may run late. We will keep you informed so that you have the option of rescheduling your appointment or seeing another provider if available. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, a 24 hour notice is required in order to avoid a missed appointment fee of $40.00. All appointments which are made the same day and missed will also be assessed the missed appointment fee. This is to ensure that all patients needing a same day appointment are able to receive the medical attention they require.

All visits require an appointment. Walk-in patients will be given an appointment upon arrival, and every effort will be made to accommodate them on the same day, if possible. We may ask that you return later in the day if the schedule allows. In case of a true emergency, we will refer you to the appropriate facility.

NEED MEDICAL ADVICE?

During regular business hours, we have an advice line available for parents to ask medical questions or get lab and x-ray results. If you are not sure if you need to bring your child into the office for an appointment, call the advice line first. It may save you a trip into the office, time off work, and of course the cost of the office visit as the advice line is FREE!

REGULAR CHECK UPS

To keep your children healthy and be assured that your child is reaching the age appropriate developmental milestones, it is important to bring them in for their regular check-ups. This schedule is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and shows when a child should have a complete physical by their pediatrician.

We at Pediatric Associates of Stockton are focused on well care as well as preventative medicine. Keeping all your child’s well visits will ensure that they are meeting the appropriate milestones as well as possibly preventing future medical conditions.
